Okay, it’s a squeeze page I put up the other day, but not bad so far.

Do you track your conversions? Your Squeeze Pages or Sales Letters?

No? Shame on you!

On a new Internet Marketing forum I joined recently, Standing Start Profits, I mentioned one of my goals was to work less, seems I was not the only one in that camp. Then again, who doesn’t want to work less and maybe make more?

I mentioned a few things I was going to do, or ones that I already did to cut my work load but I got to thinking today and realized there’s a big hole most people miss.

Testing.

What if I wasn’t testing my squeeze page and it was only running around 30%? For every 100 visitors I’d get 30 opt-ins. Since it’s over 60% I am getting double the fictitious original. Double the output with the same amount of work. What if I reached 90%? Think you get the point. Take a sales letter running at 2%, it’s often pretty easy to get 4% if you work on it, again, you’ve double your sales with little extra work.

I see so many people creating income stream after income stream thinking that if they made just a few bucks off each, a large number of them could add up to some income. Kinda of backwards thinking if you ask me. I applaud their work ethics, but they are only creating more work for themselves that they will later regret, believe me I’ve been there. I’ve tried it, it doesn’t work real well.

So the question is, how much do you test and track? If little to none, when are you going to start? Maybe today? It’s up to you, you can work your butt off if you want, I personally want to have some time to enjoy life.

Don’t know how to test? Get a Google Adwords account, if you don’t already have one, it’s free. Inside there is a tool called “Website Optimizer” and it’s step by step fill in the blanks.

Get to it Buckaroo!
