twitterOkay, I’ve had a Twitter account for some time, can’t remember how long actually. I tweeted a few times here and there, but nothing big. I never saw much value in it, or any return. Also in the back of my mind I was thinking, “This might not be a good thing, I get distracted enough as it is”.

Recently, I’ve changed my mind. I should say, I’m going to give it some effort. In talking to a fellow IM’er and noticing what others are saying about Twitter, It seems I never gave it much of a chance. I also learned, it can bring in some traffic and create some sales. That’s enough to get me to take a second look…

I was doing it all wrong really. I was posting messages, but that was about it. With no following, it’s no wonder I wasn’t seeing any kind of return, traffic or sales wise.

It’s common sense, though I didn’t have the sense, you have to have a following, well DUH! Just like listing building, you could have the best auto responder messages in the world, but if no one’s seeing them, you’r not going to get anything.

Long story short, I am putting some effort into it, following a plan that was laid out for me. I also have a couple Twitter ebooks I will try to get read, for greater success. I’ll let you know how it goes, good and bad.
