The biggest factor in your on-line business future is, hands down, your website hosting. Sure, you’ve probably heard it over and over till you just tune it out, but so many folks sure don’t seem to get it. It amazes me how many folks go on and on about the deal they got for their new hosting.

The same hosting company they have never heard of, never used, never experienced, with no recommendation from any one they know. Will their “great hosting deal” be a blessing or a curse?

I still believe in the old saying, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”. While that has been proven wrong, it’s not all that often.

I’m not going to tell you I am a hosting expert and know everything there to know about hosting, I have something better than that, it’s called experience. I’ve been working on the net since 1998, and I’ve been though my fair share of hosting problems, more than I’d care to remember.

Do you realize what happens when your website “goes down”?

You don’t make money, thats what happens.

Let’s face it, you could have the best site in the world, the most wonderful needed products, even a killer sales pitch that rakes in the conversions at an incredible rate.

If your website is down, none of it matters. You make Zero sales.

If you research enough hosting companies, you’ll notice that for the most part, prices are pretty similar, so when you come across a unbelievable “deal”, think before you act.

Most people don’t realize the power the net provides them. I know you know how to use a search engine. Type in the hosting companies name and you can find the good and more important, the negative. It’s a wide open connected world now, secrets don’t stay secret any more.

I’ve lost count how many people I’ve seen posting on a message board about how they got ripped off (not just hosting) by company xyz.

“Did you research the company? Did you search the Internet?”.

“Well, no….”.

It’s not a perfect world, I’ve had good hosting go bad over time, but at the very least you can do your homework. It could save you alot of grief and trouble. Believe me, I’ve been there.

I am very happy with my current host and support could not be any better. If your looking, you might want to check out Atci Hosting. They might not be the cheapest, but you often get what you pay for.
