I was reading a blog today, had an interesting post I was going to comment on. I will out the comment section, clicked submit and “You need to be logged into Comment”. Okay…

First it was odd that the form was wide open, usually it will say you need to register to comment. Even still there was no remark that registration was needed.

So I didn’t comment. I didn’t feel like going through the process. You could call it being lazy. I didn’t want to spend the time to fill out the form, then I might have to confirm, ect. Too much hassle.

I can’t say i was lost as a reader, or this blog will lose other readers because of the comments set-up, but I don’t know if I’ll be back. A powerful tactic of any blog is the power of comments and building a community, creating some interaction.

Okay, maybes it’s not quite a online mega store, least not yet, but we are working on it.

It’s been officially open for a few weeks now, I just never got around to posting or announcing the big news. Though it’s been pretty popular so far.

Yesterday I purchased a program for converting some video files I had to flash video so I could embed them on my QuickIMVideos blog. The program works great, not the reason for this post.

The problem was the ordering process for the program itself. On the first page there was a checkbox for a add on of the program on CD, shipped to my house. It was pre-checked. I get to the next step and sure enough there was $8 tacked on to my bill. Okay, not cool, but I go back and uncheck the box. Hit the next page and no extra charges, looking good…
