It really amazes me how many marketers don’t care to follow through.

I’ve sent two support requests to two different marketers this past week. Wanna guess what happened?

Nothing. Nada, zip, zilch.

The one product was a free product that I couldn’t get working, so I can not really expect much support. Though this marketer does say to contact him if I had any problems. I guess that was just a nice gesture.

I guess the second one couldn’t be bother with me asking about becoming an affiliate for his e-book. Maybe he has enough to make him Midas already. I might have told you about his newer product that has to do with feedback, but now it seems it would be counter-productive.

Sadly, taking 5 minutes or less to draft and send a simple e-mail, probably would have brought more future sales. Isn’t that the point in the first place?

Along the same lines, I just received an e-mail from a marketer telling me how I could get a very nice discount for an update for a e-book I purchased from him before. Am I the only one that finds it odd to pay for an update to an e-book that I already purchased? Maybe it was a huge update. I don’t know, he didn’t say.

That the old saying… “Money is the Root of all Evil” .. is not true.

The Truth is .. “The Lack of Money is the Root of all Evil”.

It does kind of make sense if you think about it. It’s safe to say people rob banks because they need money, other wise why would they? More…People rob convenience stores because they need money.

Of course it’s a funny quip from Gene, what makes Gene, well.. Gene.

Naturally not every one feels the need to steal, cheat and rob to grab their loot, though the news would have you think differently. Although the lack of money can be the cause of many problems. It’s sad that so many family problems actually stem from lack of cash.

Many would say money is not everything and we should live our lives instead of money or letting money control us in such ways. Although I agree somewhat, last I checked it’s pretty tough to live without money, unless you want to live on the street, not knowing where your next meal will come from. Money drama aside, the electric bill still has to be paid, the gas company only waits so long before they shut you off and the landlord will kick you and your “stuff” to the curb if you don’t pay the bills.

I agree money isn’t everything but as Anthony Robbins said “At least you can show up to your problems ins Style”.

Am I going anywhere with this post? Sure I am… always right?

It’s a fact of life you can’t live without money, unless your still at home with mom and dad. Instead of letting the lack of cash get you down, cause fights with your spouse over bills or make you miserable, use that same “problem” as motivation to do something about your financial situation.

It’s exactly what I did. I got myself to the point that I was so tired of not making enough money. So sick and tired of only getting paid a hourly wage. Using it all to drive me to make it work, no matter what. It was a huge turning point over 9 years ago.

I hate to quote the same person in one sitting but you could also go by what else Anthony Robbins talks about with pain and pleasure. Basically he states that we do more to avoid pain then we do to gain pleasure. In this instance we will usually work harder to avoid the possible or percieved pain of starting our own business ( possible failure probably the biggest reason), than the pleasure of the extra money we could make, if we did go for the gold.

Make sense? I sure hope it does to you. It took me many years to see the light. There is another slight twist. There could come a time when so much pain, as in the lack of money and what comes with it, becomes enough to over power the brain and the opposite comes to light.
Okay, Okay I guess I should also confess, Gene really didn’t talk to me personally, though I do love his show. And oddly I do like his quote…:)

Maybe he’s using some of that Joe Vitale Hypnotic Writing?

It’s getting to be common place now, but when I first saw it I had to say, “Oh Geez, how lazy are people getting?”

I don’t know about your super markets, but not so long ago while in the produce department, I learned you could purchase your very own all ready diced onions. That’s right, no more tears shed from this seemly evil, spicy, pungent vegetable.

Am I getting anywhere with this? Hang in there with me for just a moment.

At first I’m thinking, how lazy can people can get? It’s not that hard to cut up an onion, so your eyes redden and leak a little? Almost like an alien invasion, right after the onions, they were packaging celery, all cut up and ready to use. Next was carrots, they just kept coming…

Was it catering to the Lazy or .. Convenience?

Wow, hang on, that’s not really a bad idea. Not to mention they could sell a part of a vegetable for probably 3 times the price in the long run. Have not many millions been made just by providing convenience?

Those fancy pop-up ads on websites are really just code that any person with the knowledge could hand code on their own pages. Yet there are a slew of software programs that will spit out the code for you.. convenience.

Convenience is anything that is intended to save a time or frustration.Web pages could be hand written with a simple program called notepad that have been included with Windows for years. Yet I use a WYSIWYG web page creator because it’s … convenient. Squeeze pages are really just a html webpage, yet many folks are making mint incomes from squeeze page generators. People use to submit articles by hand, now they use a submission program, they even use programs to rewrite articles.. all convenient.

Stoves and ovens still do a great job of cooking most any food item efficiently, have for many years, yet could you live without your microwave?

What could you create that would be convenient to others? Could save them time and frustration? Others are making a small killing providing the service. What about you? Look around, take your time, I’ll still be here. I’m sure you could “Stumble” onto something.
I have yet to buy pre-dressed vegetables, and I’m sure Ginsu owners would cringe, but for some it’s a perfect convenience and they are more than willing to pay for it.

Over the years I’ve come to realize why so many people are broke all the time. It’s really not their fault.. It’s the money itself. They seem to be oddly attracted to those magically possessed dollars that can and do literally burn a whole through a new pair of cowboy wranglers. Lucky enough there has never been a big enough gathering of this infected money, as it possibly could burn the jeans off a bull rider.

Back to reality…

I may conjure up so fantasy tales, but the often unwanted truth is, many people can not control their money. “The more you make the more you spend” has much more truth in it than most would like to admit. I’ve been there, I’ve admitted it. I am a witness to many friends who are always broke and probably will always have empty pockets because they

What the heck does this have to do with making money or being successful in anything? The crowd now wants to know.

If you want to bring any kind of traffic from article marketing, you have to discipline yourself to writing and submitted on a very regular basis. Blog posts must be created habitual if your wanting blog traffic. Drawing new visitors from forums means posting in a consistent manner. You know the routine, you need to take care of business to make business. To create income you’ve got to take care of your income.

My wife and I have so many friends that are always broke. I use to feel for them, after all we’ve been there many times. Once we didn’t have a phone for over a year because we couldn’t pay the bill. Been there, done that.

But I started to realize, they are broke because they don’t take care of their money. Again, been there done that. My income has been very good at times from the Internet, yet my bank balance did not always move up. What say you? I wasn’t paying attention to the pennies, and what happen to the dollars? They would have burned out my new Lee’s I swear it.

You don’t have to live like Bilbo Baggins in a hobbit hole, but do you really need that next “Toy” you buy? I can tell you from experience, and watching my friends, being broke is not that hard a task to accomplish.

My youngest daughter is into Rodeo’s. Her events are Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. She’s really come a long way, just a couple years ago she could barely stay on a horse let alone race around a pattern as fast as the horse could go. I’m am so proud of her, not as a dad who has something to brag about, but proud of her for the what she’s accomplished and that confidence she’s built in to herself, by herself.

A good part of the summer weekends are spent at local rodeo’s and to be honest I am actually jealous. Jealous of my daughter and all the other kids that happily jump on the back of a some what tamed animal. When I say kids I mean it, from 4 to 17 years of age.

A couple months back one little girl about 7, fell off her horse will racing around metal barrels. Face first, right in the dirt. She was up, licky split with a smile on her face…

This past weekend an older girl raced down to the end of the arena to pick up a tiny thing, about 6 years old off the top of the barrel, they call it barrel pick-up. The objective is to run down, swoop the pick-up-ie off the barrel and race back across the timers. Best time wins. As happens some times, all didn’t go so well. They both end up on the ground. The little one wasn’t exactly smiling as Dad did his best to make it all better. With the mixture of scared and getting some of the wind knocked out of her, she was a little upset, to say the least.

Less then 5 minutes later, this sweet 6 year old was on her own horse running down to pick some one else up.

Some of these same kids get on the back of a 1,000 lb bull and try to hang on for 8 seconds. Often getting stepped on and trampled. The next night they are suited up, ready to take another wild ride.

As adults, when and how did we lose our fearlessness? I’m sure you’ve heard it before… If you knew you Couldn’t Fail, what would you Try?” If you were once again Fearless, what could you accomplish?

Something that’s been bothering me lately and you get to hear about. Should I have attached a “rant” tag?

It’s something that bothers me because I think it intimidates many folks and stops them in their tracks.

I’m talking about product creation. I’m sure you know by now that having your own products is the way to win the race. Least the race to the bank. I’ve seen so many, if not most of them, tell would be marketers that it only takes a few hours to whip out a product. If one can do it that fast, good for them, more power to them.

I don’t know about you, but it takes me a while to put together an e-book. I must be doing it wrong because it takes me more than a day, thats for sure.

My point is, don’t beat yourself up if you can’t polish off a new report in record time. So what if it takes you a couple days, a week or even a month. The only thing that matters is that you stay in the race and never quit.

The turtle might have been slow, but he still won the race.

He would have finished either way.
