Many people don’t realize how important support is with their hosting company, until the worst happens, their site is not working or offline. Quickly they find out just how hard it is to get a response, or how long the lag is.
What type of support does your current host provide? Do they have a support telephone number? A responsive ticket system? Live Chat? Instant Messenger support?

I recently learned a lesson, thats why they are no longer my hosting company. At first they had a ticket system and live chat room, even a telephone number. Over time it came down to a ticket system that often left me hanging and a phone number that was just a recording. Guess how quickly I got my problems solved?
